OrgPlus Enterprise System Requirements


Client Requirements


Processor

  • 1GHz CPU or greater

Memory

  • Minimum 512MB of RAM minimum; 1GB Recommended

Supported Browsers

Administration and other advanced functionality in OrgPlus Enterprise are only supported for certain browsers. To ensure that you have complete access to all functionality in OrgPlus Enterprise, we recommend you use one of the following browsers:
  • Internet Explorer 7
  • Internet Explorer 8
  • Internet Explorer 9

Basic functionality in the chart, directory and orgtree modules are supported in the following additional browsers:

  • Mozilla Firefox 4
  • Mozilla Firefox 5
  • Apple Safari 5.0.4

Browser Plug-in

  • Adobe Flash Player 10

Display

  • 1024x768

Server Requirements


Processor

  • Server with processor speed of 2.5 gigahertz (GHz) or higher; dual processor, 3 GHz or higher recommended

Memory

  • Minimum 2 gigabytes (GB) RAM; 4GB recommended

Hard Disk

  • 3 GB of available hard disk

Operating System

  • Windows Server 2003 R2
  • Windows Server 2008 R2

Application Server

There is a dependency between the operating system used with OrgPlus Enterprise and the application server version. When using Windows Server 2008 R2, the required application server is Microsoft's Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.0. When using Windows Server 2003 R2, the required application server is IIS 6.0.

For IIS 7 on Windows Server 2008, refer to the required role services matrix for a complete list of the IIS role services that are required to install OrgPlus Enterprise 4.4

For both IIS 7.0 and IIS 6.0 the following components should be installed:
  • Common files
  • Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) service (for sending log files)
  • World Wide Web service

Note: All required files from Visual C++ 2008 are automatically installed by the OrgPlus Enterprise installer; no additional software installation is required.

Oracle Data Provider for .NET 2.0 v11.2.0.1.2 (Only required when connecting to Oracle databases)
Note: It is not necessary to install an Oracle client in addition to the Oracle Data Provider for .NET

OrgPlus Enterprise Blueprint System Requirements

  • Due to the high system resource demands required by Blueprint, the OrgPlus Web Modeler application should always be installed on a separate server than the OrgPlus Enterprise application.
  • If Blueprint and Succession planning are used in parallel, to insure optimum performance it is highly recommended that separate servers be dedicated to each module and separate instances of the OrgPlus Web Modeler application be installed on each server.
